Donut Robotics Co., Ltd. (ドーナツロボティクス)

Donut Robotics of Tokyo, founded in 2014, is a software company that moved into humanoids: its donut AI layer with a Japanese-language VLA and VLM runs on hardware bought from OEM suppliers and assembled in Japan. The first product, the bipedal cinnamon 1, was presented in January 2026 and has been sold to businesses through the partner SMS DataTech since June 2026.

A successor, cinnamon 2, is announced for autumn, and a smaller cinnamon mini is built on the AgiBot X2 platform. The company's strength is Japanese-language software and a silent gesture-control mode rather than its own mechanics.
