The Gausium Scrubber 50 Pro and the LionsBot R3 Scrub Pro are two floor-scrubbing machines that appear in the offers of the same distributors, yet more than USD 20,000 separates them. We set the products of Gausium and LionsBot International side by side in numbers, without marketing gloss. The wider context of the segment is covered in “Commercial Cleaning Robots in Practice”.

Design and specifications
The Scrubber 50 Pro combines three jobs — scrubbing, sweeping and mopping — in one machine. It is 107 cm tall, weighs 157 kg and drives at up to 1.2 m/s. Runtime depends on the mode: from 3 to 8 hours. Navigation uses 2D LiDAR, a 3D depth camera, an RGB camera and a collision sensor, and a stain-recognition system decides where to add cleaning. A five-stage water-recycling loop cuts fresh-water use by about 80 percent.
The R3 Scrub Pro is lighter at 85.3 kg, which is 71.7 kg less, and slower at 0.83 m/s, about 30 percent below the Gausium. It combines LiDAR, ultrasonic sensors and an RGB-D camera, and a full charge takes 2 hours. The material available gives no dimensions or battery runtime for it, so this pair of parameters cannot be compared. Throughput in a large hall depends on speed, scrubbing width and runtime, so before buying ask for the datasheet and a trial on your own floor (“How to Read a Robot Datasheet”).
Price and availability in Poland
The price gap is large. RobotLAB lists the Scrubber 50 Pro from USD 53,600, or about PLN 207,760 (≈ EUR 47,610) at the rate of 3.8762 on 1 October 2026; RaaS is USD 1,795 a month. The R3 Scrub Pro costs USD 31,250 (about PLN 121,131 (≈ EUR 27,760)) or USD 869 a month. The Gausium is therefore USD 22,350 dearer, about 72 percent, and more than twice as much on subscription. Per unit of speed it comes to about USD 44,700 per m/s for the Gausium and about USD 37,650 for the LionsBot, so the gap narrows to around 19 percent.
No Polish distributor or service has been confirmed for either robot. Gausium publishes nothing about sales in Poland, and LionsBot works through RobotLAB and partners in Europe. Importing means adding transport, VAT and service; we describe how to calculate total cost in “Humanoid Robot TCO: How to Calculate Total Cost”. The robotisation tax relief covers industrial robots in a strictly defined sense, so whether a scrubber qualifies is for a tax adviser to decide (“Poland's Robotization Tax Relief”).
Which model for which job
The Scrubber 50 Pro targets retail, logistics, airports and industry, meaning large, open floors (retail, warehouses). Over several thousand square metres, higher speed and a runtime of up to 8 hours make it easier to finish cleaning within one shift. The R3 Scrub Pro, intended for retail and logistics, is enough for a smaller site or a warehouse where the route is shorter and the budget limited. For dry vacuuming the same maker offers the LionsBot R3 Vac, and an alternative from another shelf is the Nilfisk Liberty SC50. Choosing equipment for large halls also touches the safety of people and forklifts moving around it; the segment is covered in the category “Service robots”.
Conclusion
The Scrubber 50 Pro is much heavier, at 157 kg (against about 85 kg for the R3 Scrub Pro), and faster, at 1.2 m/s versus 0.83 m/s, which translates into higher cleaning output on large retail, logistics and airport floors. Price reflects that difference in scale: the Scrubber 50 Pro costs USD 53,600 (about PLN 207,760 (≈ EUR 47,610)) or USD 1,795 a month under RaaS (robot-as-a-service), while the R3 Scrub Pro costs much less, USD 31,250 or USD 869 a month. The Scrubber 50 Pro has richer sensing: 2D LiDAR, a 3D depth camera, an RGB camera and a collision sensor, while the R3 Scrub Pro is limited to LiDAR, ultrasonics and RGB-D. Both target similar segments, retail and logistics, although the Scrubber 50 Pro also lists airports and industry. For large retail and industrial sites, the Scrubber 50 Pro has the performance advantage; for smaller areas, the R3 Scrub Pro is the cheaper alternative.
A large site, many hours of work and a need for full sensing: choose the Scrubber 50 Pro, bearing in mind that you pay about 72 percent more for it. A mid-sized site, a budget of up to about PLN 115,000 (≈ EUR 26,350) and a simpler task: the R3 Scrub Pro is the more sensible choice, provided you confirm its battery runtime. A cleaning company that wants to begin with a pilot should ask about subscription and a trial period: at USD 869 and USD 1,795 a month the decision need not depend on capital. Without a Polish distributor, get warranty and spare parts in writing. The comparison rests on data from manufacturers and distributors, not on our own tests.
