The X-Hand M1, known in China as 信手, is the rigid industrial hand of Beijing-based Yuequan Bionics, a company rooted in the bionic-engineering lab of Jilin University. Introduced in August 2025, it has 11 degrees of freedom driven by a high-power-density motor matrix inside the hand.
Its headline is strength: reports from July and August 2026 state that the whole hand sustains 50 kg in a hook grip and lasts for one million cycles. A tactile skin of 530 sensing units covers the surface. Weight, dimensions, interfaces and supply voltage are not published, and the company website offers no specification sheet.
The hand equips the maker's own W-Bot 2.0 and has been trialled in live-line power-grid maintenance, demonstrated at the World Robot Conference 2026. Status is field deployment, price on request. Yuequan runs a parallel soft-hand series driven by artificial muscles, represented by Y-Hand M2.
For comparable lifting capacity, TORCH HAND 1 reaches 40 kg with 21 DoF, while ALLEX Hand manages 30 kg in a hook grip.
