Two wounded at once ride in the armoured box of the Ratel H, protected against drone fire – the heaviest wheeled platform of Ratel Robotics from the Kyiv region. It weighs about 900 kg (Mezha says 1.1 t), carries 400 kg, drives at 8 km/h and covers 20 km according to defence24 (Pravda and Mezha quote 60 km).
A quiet electric drive and night-vision cameras suit night work; the link reaches 3 km via a drone relay, 6 km from a ground station with repeater and effectively unlimited distance over Starlink. Beyond evacuation, the chassis takes electronic-warfare, observation-post, mine-clearing and combat modules, and one variant launches four fibre-optic FPV drones.
Series production started in July 2024 under the Brave1 cluster for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The company, founded in 2022 (Dealroom) or late 2023 (CSM), builds about 4,000 UGVs a year across all types according to the Christian Science Monitor, and in September 2026 the US firm Swarmer announced its acquisition for up to 224 million USD. No price is published; the offer is on request.
The smaller Ratel S (35 kg, 22 km/h) serves as an explosive carrier, the Ratel M carries 200–400 kg. In the evacuation class, the Estonian THeMIS in CASEVAC configuration reached Ukraine in 2022 under a contract financed by Germany's defence ministry, offering a Western-built alternative at a very different price point.
