Ratel Robotics (STOLB.COM.UA)

Ratel Robotics (STOLB.COM.UA) from the Kyiv area was founded in 2022 out of a street-lighting company and is led by founder Taras Ostapchuk. It produces the Ratel line of ground drones: the Ratel S, a 4x4 kamikaze and mine-laying vehicle initially crowd-funded and in serial production since October 2023 under the Brave1 cluster, and the Ratel X cargo carrier.

The Dealroom database lists the company as acquired, but the buyer has not been confirmed. Ratel Robotics typifies the Ukrainian firms that moved from civilian trades to serial production of front-line equipment within a single year.
