Inspire Robots positions the RH56E2 as the industrial, heavy-duty member of its RH56 family, built for harder work than the popular inspire-rh56dfx. It keeps the layout of six motors in the hand, twelve joints and six degrees of freedom, but fingertip force rises to 28 N, thumb force to 30 N, and the maker rates the load at about 15 kg.
The hand closes in 0.8 s, the four fingers move faster than 200 degrees per second, the thumb faster than 130, and thumb rotation spans 75 to 170 degrees. Weight is 790 g with tactile sensors (plus or minus 10 g) and 770 g without.
Standard force sensors resolve 0.05 N; optional tactile fingertips come as T1 with 17 resistive sensors over 0 to 30 N or T2 with five capacitive sensors over 0 to 20 N, so touch sensing applies to those variants only. Force and position control run over RS485, CAN or Modbus TCP, which eases connection to industrial controllers.
Power is 24 V with 10 percent tolerance, drawing 0.2 to 0.25 A at rest and 4 A peak. Dimensions are not published. Intended fields are industry, humanoids and service robots; the price is available by quotation only.
