Summary

Shenzhen Cyborg Robotics designs robots for high-risk industries such as power, gas and chemicals and fits the CYBORG-HO2 hand to its own humanoids, the wheeled W01 and the biped R01. The hand uses a tendon-cable drive: six motors account for six active degrees of freedom, and ten further joints are underactuated, giving sixteen joints in total.

It weighs 750 g and is 248 mm long, with a 40 mm wrist width, 114 mm hand width, 104 mm longest finger and 52 mm thickness. Grip force is 50 N, fingertip force 10 N; the load is stated as 40 kg on the product page while the maker's homepage says 15 kg, so buyers should ask how each value was measured.

The hand is rated for a million cycles and for drops from more than a metre, in line with its intended use in harsh conditions. Power is 12 V with 170 mA at rest, communication RS485, CAN or EtherCAT. The maker gives no information on tactile sensors, and the price is available on request. Target uses are humanoids and industry in hazardous environments.

A similar six-motor layout with tendon transmission appears in the X2, which however has no published mass data.
