Allonic Hand MK2

Allonic of Budapest does not sell its hand; it uses the hand to show off a manufacturing process. The Allonic Hand MK2 is a five-finger tendon-driven hand whose tendons, pulleys and rigid scaffold are produced together in a single automated run of what the company calls 3D Tissue Braiding, yielding one monolithic structure instead of an assembly of separate parts.

The process was first shown in May 2025, and Allonic says its second-generation machinery is five times faster and half the size of the first. The company was founded in Budapest in 2021 by Benedek Tasi, David Pelyva and David Hollo and raised a 7.2 million USD pre-seed round in 2026.

Technical figures for the hand are not published: the number of degrees of freedom, actuator count, weight, load capacity, sensors and interfaces are all unknown, and numbers circulating in online comparison tables are not confirmed by the maker. The MK2 remains a prototype and technology demonstrator for research, is not for sale and has no price.

For a tendon-driven hand with published specifications, the OmniHand 3 Ultra-T offers a point of comparison.
