Allonic is a Budapest company founded in 2021 by Benedek Tasi, David Pelyva and David Hollo that developed the 3D Tissue Braiding process, in which the tendons, pulleys and scaffold of a robotic hand are braided into one monolithic structure in a single automated run. The technology was first shown in May 2025, and the second-generation machinery is said to be five times faster and half the size.
In 2026 the company raised a 7.2 million USD pre-seed round. Its Allonic Hand MK2 is a prototype and demonstrator without published specifications and is not for sale.
