The fourth ALICE generation is a bipedal research humanoid developed by the Korean company AeiROBOT together with Hanyang University, whose RoboCup team HERoEHS fields it in the Humanoid League. All figures come from the team's RoboCup specification sheet of January 2026, which the team itself marks as subject to change. The robot stands 160 cm tall and weighs 48 kg.
Its 41 degrees of freedom break down into six per leg, seven per arm and six per hand, the hand being an in-house design. Walking is omnidirectional at up to 1.0 m/s. Actuation relies on AeiROBOT's own electric linear and rotary actuators. Perception uses a ZED X stereo camera, a Lord 3DM-GX4-25 inertial unit and four force sensors in each foot.
An Intel i7-1370PE handles control while an NVIDIA Jetson module runs the AI workload; the software stack includes BehaviorTree.CPP, RTAB-Map, pinocchio, crocoddyl and MuJoCo. Four 140.4 Wh batteries give 562 Wh in total; runtime is not published. The platform is not open source and is priced on request.
Compared with the hydraulic Atlas of the DARPA era, ALICE is a lightweight electric competition machine; its wheeled industrial sibling is Alice M1.
