RY-H1

Sixteen active and five passive degrees of freedom spread across 21 joints define the RY-H1 from Ruiyan Intelligent Control in Shenzhen. The motors are housed in the hand itself, which weighs 870 g and is rated for 5 kg.

Grip figures differ by source and buyers should check which applies: distributor AIFit Lab states 160 N and a 0.75 s open-close time, while the maker's own site lists 94 N, 0.6 s and ±0.6 mm repeatability for the series. Standard sensing is position and current at 10 mA resolution; the RY-H1 Tactile variant adds touch sensors.

Power input spans 24 to 60 V. Interfaces include CAN FD at 1 and 5 Mbit/s, classic CAN, RS-485 at 5 Mbit/s and EtherCAT through a converter module. Three-loop control includes overcurrent and stall protection, with libraries for Windows and Linux; left and right versions are offered. AIFit Lab lists the hand at 16,000 USD as of October 2026, on back order.

The smaller RY-H2 offers six motors at a fraction of the price, while ZWHAND A17 is another Shenzhen hand in the 17-joint class.
