REK T800 'Terminator'

REK’s full-height fighter since mid-2026 is a Terminator-styled EngineAI T800. The base robot measures 173 cm, weighs 75 to 85 kg and has 29 joints with up to 450 Nm, a 360-degree LiDAR and stereo cameras; fight-video overlays quote 6 ft (183 cm) and 200 lb (90.7 kg).

Every movement comes from a human pilot, either through a VR headset with controllers or a handheld gamepad, while the onboard AI only keeps balance; pilots qualify through REK’s simulator. The robot boxes and kicks without weapons, and one fight video credits a kick with 850 lb of force.

Japanese pilot Hiroyuki Osone won both REK Tokyo at Bellesalle Akihabara on 25 July 2026 (350 tickets) and REK2 at REK Arena San Francisco on 15 August 2026, where the final against pilot SUSLIKE ended in a double knockout in round two. REK2 rules: two-minute rounds, two rounds to win, judges or knockout.

On 18 September 2026 the Terminator fought human challenger Frankie LaPenna; REK declared LaPenna winner of two of three bouts, videos show him on the floor, and the California State Athletic Commission issued a cease-and-desist on 23 September 2026.
