The Revo 1 was the first robotics hand from BrainCo, the Chinese company known for brain-computer interfaces and EMG-controlled prostheses, and it descends directly from that prosthesis. Six precision micro motors inside the hand drive ten joints, six active degrees of freedom and four passive ones; the thumb has two driven motions, each other finger one driven and one passive.
The hand weighs 540 g, measures 183 x 100 mm, opens to 113 mm and takes 0.8 s to open or close. Power grasp reaches 50 N, pinch 30 N, and the hand bears up to 30 kg. The basic version senses only position and current, with motion control that protects against jamming, drops and vibration; the Touch version adds fingertip sensors for pressure, friction, force direction and proximity over 0 to 25 N at 0.1 N resolution and at least 50 Hz.
Supply is 9.5 to 28 V at up to 3 A, communication RS485 or CAN. The body combines aerospace aluminium with food-grade plastic. Intended uses are humanoids, robot arms, exoskeletons and research. All figures come from the reseller AIFIT Lab, as the maker's site publishes no specifications; the same reseller listed the basic version from 9,500 USD on backorder in October 2026.
The newer and lighter successors are the Revo 2 and the Revo 3.
