The tracked vehicle weighs about 23 t according to Ukrainian reports and carries a 3 m hydraulic tiller working to roughly 55 cm depth; the maker quotes about 2,400 m²/h, while President Zelensky spoke of 1.5 ha an hour.
It is designed to survive a 10 kg anti-tank mine, and an armoured cab with 10 mm plate and 40 mm polycarbonate glass lets a single operator drive from inside or by remote control from up to 800 m using cameras. An additional attachment module followed in March 2024.
The manufacturer's website was blocked on 17 October 2026, so figures come from ArmyInform and Army Recognition; length, speed and engine power are not stated. The dual mode – crewed or remote – sets the Armtrac 400 apart from the purely unmanned MV-4, which weighs a quarter as much and uses a 1.8 m tiller.
One unit is documented, making it a rare case of a heavy demining machine with a fully public purchase price in a class where costs usually vanish inside aid packages.
