Tacta Systems Inc.

Tacta Systems is a start-up in Palo Alto, California, building the TactaBot system, a robot for skilled manufacturing work equipped with a human-scale five-finger hand. The company develops its own Fluidic Tendon actuation and miniature MEMS tactile sensors for the fingertips, and teaches the robot by recording the movements of a skilled worker through a capture glove.

The Tacta Hand was unveiled in July 2026, with first shipments planned for early 2027. The founding year is given only approximately, about three years before that launch.
