Suidobashi Heavy Industry is a Japanese art-and-engineering outfit from Tokyo led by artist Kogoro Kurata, with Wataru Yoshizaki responsible for the software. In 2012 the team unveiled Kuratas, a 4 m rideable mech weighing 4.5 tons, armed with a BB gatling and offered for about 1.35 million USD. On 17 October 2017 Kuratas lost the scripted giant-robot duel to MegaBots’ Eagle Prime from the United States.

No website is given in the sources, and Kuratas remains the outfit’s only known project in machine combat. The name refers to the Suidobashi district of Tokyo.
