MegaBots Inc. was a US start-up from Hayward, previously Oakland, California, founded in 2014 by Gui Cavalcanti, Matt Oehrlein and Andrew Stroup. The company built the 12-ton two-seat mech Eagle Prime for 2.5 million USD and on 17 October 2017 staged the first giant-robot duel against Japan’s Kuratas, streamed on Twitch and described by Wikipedia as scripted.
The planned giant-robot league never materialised: MegaBots ran out of money in 2019, its assets were liquidated and Eagle Prime was sold on eBay for 29,900 USD. Its predecessor was the Mk.II ‘Iron Glory’ of 2015. The company is defunct and no website is given in the sources.
