Gesture Platforms is a Canadian start-up that crowdfunded its first robotic hand on Kickstarter in May and June 2026. The HW1 combines hand and wrist, offers 10 active degrees of freedom across 19 joints, runs on an ESP32-S3 and connects over USB-C, Bluetooth and WiFi; backers paid between USD 699 and 849 per unit. Deliveries are scheduled from November 2026.
The company aims at makers, labs and teleoperation use; its city and founding year are not published.
