Sarcomere Dynamics Inc. is a young company from St. Albert, Alberta, co-founded by Harpal, Avtar and Nancy Mandaher. Its first prototype was a prosthetic hand developed at the University of British Columbia, and today's robotic hands grew out of that work.
The entry product is the ARTUS Lite, a twenty-joint hand with actuators inside the fingers that was shown at Hannover Messe in March 2024 and is aimed at industry, teleoperation and humanoids; stronger versions with up to 15 kg payload are offered on request. Programming goes through the company's own ArtusAPI Python library. In the catalogue: ARTUS Lite.
