The DexHand is a 3D-printed, open-source five-finger hand from The Robot Studio in Villeurbanne, the workshop of Rob Knight. A version labelled V2.3 appears only in third-party directories; the maker officially documents V1.0 with 19 powered degrees of freedom and maintains a V2_DexHand repository holding the STL files and code of the second line, without naming a sub-version.
For that V2 line the maker does not publish joint count, servo count or weight, which is why those fields stay empty here. The hand is tendon driven with motors outside the fingers. First-generation firmware offers Bluetooth Low Energy, and ROS 2 packages exist for V1.
The V2 repository is licensed under CERN-OHL-S, and the studio puts the parts cost of a self-printed V1 at roughly 300 USD; assembled units are not sold, so the price is on request. The same studio builds the HOPEJr humanoid that uses these hands. Readers who want a fully specified open hand may prefer Aero Hand Open or CRAFT Hand.
