Summary

Six thousand litres a minute thrown up to 90 m: the TAF60 is the latest and largest turbine robot from EmiControls, presented in the company's Interschutz 2026 brochure together with the TAF60X. Standing under 2 m high, it fits through standard industrial doors; a Stage V diesel drives the tracked chassis at 9 km/h and up 30-degree slopes.

The 25 kW turbine works at up to 16 bar, delivering 1,500 l/min as water mist or up to 6,000 l/min in high-flow mode, with reach of 60 to 90 m. Net airflow is 60,000 m³/h, which the maker rates as 220,000 m³/h effective for smoke removal. The central monitor tilts ±17 degrees, and the X version adds an independent head monitor for a second stream.

Radio control reaches 300 m; thermal imaging and video transmission are optional. Weight, length and width are not stated on the product page or in the brochure, and pricing is on request.

Compared with the older TAF20, monitor output has risen from 3,500 to 6,000 l/min at unchanged turbine power, positioning the TAF60 for refineries, tunnels and ports where crews must keep their distance from radiant heat. Within the turbine class it is currently the top of the European range.
