Team SawBlaze of Cambridge, Massachusetts, formerly LiMITless Robotics, has roots at MIT and is led by builder, captain and driver Jamison Go. Its robot SawBlaze, a hammer saw that pins opponents with a wedge and cuts them from above with a spinning disc, has competed in BattleBots since 2016 and won the Giant Nut at the 2023 World Championship VII after beating Minotaur, Ribbot and HUGE; its career record is 25-10.
Members include Aaron Fan, Ray Ma, Samantha Glassner, Shakti Shaligram, Liam Chapin, Eli Davis, Alina Granville and Jake Chesin. The team proves that in a league dominated by spinners a cutting weapon can still take the championship.
