FarmDroid

FarmDroid, a Danish maker of the solar-powered FD20/FD20.2 farm robot, combines precise seeding and mechanical-electrical weeding of row crops (sugar beet, vegetables) in one machine, guided by RTK-GPS navigation. It is the only robot in our catalog from the narrow niche of autonomous farm machines that both sow and weed.

Unlike typical weeding robots, FarmDroid does not need the rows mapped in advance, because it sowed them itself. Specific figures (working width, hectares per day, price) remain unconfirmed. The company's founding year, funding and headcount are also unknown. No commercial presence in Poland has been noted, although precision agriculture is a growing segment there.
