Anyone looking for a robot with a full dock at a low price can choose between, among others, the Dreame L40 Ultra AE and the ECOVACS DEEBOT T30C Gen 2. The first is built by Dreame Technology, the second by ECOVACS Robotics. Both have 19,000–20,000 Pa of suction, two rotating mops that lift on carpets, a dock that washes the mops at 75°C and dries them, and up to 180 minutes of runtime. Both were cheaper than usual on 10 October 2026 thanks to promotions. They differ in how they avoid obstacles, in how much the maker publishes and in price. Below we explain what the extra money for the Dreame buys and who it pays off for.

Design and specifications

Suction is close: 19,000 Pa in the L40 Ultra AE and 20,000 Pa in the T30C Gen 2. Both have brushes that limit hair wrap: the Dreame a rubber brush plus a TriCut brush, the ECOVACS a ZeroTangle 3.0 brush.

The difference lies in obstacle handling. The L40 navigates by laser (Pathfinder), recognises obstacles with a camera backed by 3D structured light and an LED, and detects carpet with an ultrasonic sensor. The T30C builds its map with TrueMapping 2.0, 96 m² in about 8 minutes according to ECOVACS, and avoids obstacles with TrueDetect structured light; the product page describes no camera.

The mops lift by 10.5 mm on carpets in the Dreame and by 9 mm in the ECOVACS. The Dreame also has MopExtend, which pushes the mop under furniture and into corners. The docks are similar: both wash at 75°C, dry the mops and dose fluid; ECOVACS states 45°C drying, Dreame a 3.2 l bag. The L40 is 9.7 cm tall and weighs 4 kg, while ECOVACS publishes neither height nor weight for the T30C.

Price and availability in Poland

We checked prices on 10 October 2026, and both models were on promotion. The ECOVACS DEEBOT T30C Gen 2 cost PLN 1,049 (≈ EUR 240) gross at ecovacspoland.pl instead of the regular PLN 2,149 (≈ EUR 490), with the promotion running until 31 October 2026. The Dreame L40 Ultra AE cost PLN 1,499 (≈ EUR 345) gross in Dreame's Polish shop, against a regular PLN 2,099 (≈ EUR 480). Both were in stock, each in its maker's own shop.

At regular prices the two are almost level, with the Dreame slightly cheaper. Right now the T30C is clearly the cheaper one, so if you choose the ECOVACS, do it before 31 October 2026. Add bags and detergent to the running costs. Dreame states a 3.2 l bag lasting about 100 days for the L40, while ECOVACS does not publish the bag capacity for the T30C.

Which model for which job

Both robots suit a home or flat with a family and a pet, where the mops should be washed without daily rinsing by hand. Both climb thresholds of only up to 20 mm, so check high thresholds, for example at the balcony, before buying.

The L40 Ultra AE is the better fit where toys, cables or socks lie on the floor, because it recognises obstacles with a camera. Its published 9.7 cm height lets you check in advance whether it will fit under the sofa. Dreame quotes up to 168 m² per charge, and MopExtend reaches into corners.

The T30C Gen 2 is the choice for a multi-storey house, because it stores maps for up to three floors, and for buyers who want to pay as little as possible. You will have to check the robot's height yourself, as ECOVACS does not publish it on its Polish pages.

Conclusion

These are two low-priced robots with a full dock that empties the bin, washes the mops with 75°C water and dries them. On 10 October 2026 the ECOVACS DEEBOT T30C Gen 2 cost PLN 1,049 (≈ EUR 240) on promotion at ecovacspoland.pl (regular PLN 2,149 (≈ EUR 490), promotion until 31 October 2026), and the Dreame L40 Ultra AE PLN 1,499 (≈ EUR 345) in Dreame's shop (regular PLN 2,099 (≈ EUR 480)). Both have a 5,200 mAh battery, up to 180 minutes of runtime and climb thresholds up to 20 mm. The T30C has slightly more suction (20,000 Pa against 19,000 Pa). The Dreame adds a camera, a published height of 9.7 cm and an extending mop. The T30C is the cheapest route; the L40 is better equipped.

If every zloty counts, buy the ECOVACS DEEBOT T30C Gen 2. At the PLN 1,049 (≈ EUR 240) promotional price you get 20,000 Pa, mop washing at 75°C, drying, detergent dosing and maps for up to three floors. Accept that ECOVACS does not publish height, weight or noise, and that the robot detects obstacles with structured light only.

Choose the Dreame L40 Ultra AE if things often lie on your floor, or if you have low furniture and want to know the dimensions before buying. The camera, extending mop and higher-lifting pads justify the higher PLN 1,499 (≈ EUR 345) price. Once the promotions end, the L40 will even be cheaper than the T30C, and the choice becomes easy. Other robots with full docks are in robot vacuums.
