RTE Robot
Euro-pallet footprint, 100-plus units delivered: Rosenbauer's RTE Robot from Leonding, Austria, passed the hundred mark in January 2025, more than half of them shipped in 2024 alone, with the 100th going to Landkreis München, which bought three for the volunteer brigades of Heimstetten, Hohenbrunn and Gräfelfing; Rescue Zeeland and AX Twente in the Netherlands use it too.

The tracked chassis measures 120 × 80 × 36 cm (800 or 1,070 mm wide), weighs about 375 kg and carries 625 kg. Two 48 V motors of 1.38 kW rated IP69K draw on four 12 V 95 Ah AGM batteries (roughly 4.56 kWh) for up to 20 hours, 5 km/h, 10 km of range and 26-degree slopes, and the robot drags over 180 m of charged 65 mm hose.
Modules include the RM15 monitor (1,600 l/min, about 55 m) and RM35 (about 3,500 l/min, about 73 m), a positive-pressure fan and a 295 kg transport box. Control is by T5 radio with video to 200 m; the AX module with four 3D time-of-flight cameras allows operation beyond line of sight. The Landkreis München price was not published, so pricing is on request.
The LUF Nano follows the same light-platform idea at 155 kg less weight, while the RTE's production run makes it the most widely built firefighting robot in this section.
