VOP CZ, s.p. is a Czech state enterprise under the Ministry of Defence, based in Šenov u Nového Jičína (location from general knowledge), that overhauls and manufactures military equipment.
In ground robotics it develops the TAROS family of 6x6 and 4x4 UGVs, now in its fourth generation; according to the company catalogue the Czech Army was the first NATO force to field the platform, with three vehicles, and the Czech Military Police is a second user.
VOP CZ works on autonomy with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague, and its UGV-Pz reconnaissance variant carries a Thales Squire radar.
