OceanTrix Robotics in Shenzhen, by its own account in business since 1996, builds metal five-finger hands from aviation-grade aluminium for industrial duty. The line-up comprises the larger R1 with a 30 kg load and 30 N finger force and the compact R2 with 20 kg and added EtherCAT; both have six degrees of freedom, motors inside the hand, optional touch sensors and a Python and C++ SDK with RS-485 and CAN FD interfaces.
