Photon Education

Photon Education is a Polish edtech company founded in 2017. It makes Photon, an educational robot for teaching programming and STEAM across a range of age groups, and Classwise, a gamified classroom platform built around learning mats (Classpads), a library of lesson scenarios and progress analytics. The hardware is CE-certified and manufactured in Europe.

The company says it reaches more than one million students in 15,000 schools on six continents, and holds Education Alliance Finland and ISTE Seal of Alignment certifications that attest to its teaching value. Materials come in many languages, including Polish, German, Czech, Italian, Bulgarian and French.

Among educational robots, alongside competitors such as Poland's Skriware and international names like Ozobot and Sphero, Photon stands out for the scale of its international rollouts and its emphasis on ready-made lesson plans rather than hardware alone. The company's headquarters location is not stated clearly on its website.
