Global Clearance Solutions AG (GCS) of Freienbach in the canton of Schwyz was founded in 2015 and builds mechanical demining systems. Its GCS-200 platform reached its 100th unit in April 2026; more than 60 machines work in Ukraine for the State Emergency Service DSNS, the State Special Transport Service and the agricultural group Nibulon, and Ukraine's defence ministry announced 26 more.
A Swiss aid package covered three systems for 4.6 million CHF including training and service, and two further units were delivered with EU support. The company runs a press section and publishes accounts of its CROMAC accreditation tests in Croatia.
