Exotec of France, based in Croix near Lille and founded in 2015, specializes in goods-to-person warehouse systems: the Skypod cubic storage system operated by climbing mobile robots.
It is one of the few manufacturers described here with a documented, working deployment in Poland: at logistics operator ILS Logistics in Zakroczym, 200 robots were already working (as of December 2024), serving about 60,000 totes, with a plan to expand to 12 locations in Central and Eastern Europe by 2026; another installation with the A1 Sorter system in Stęszew is planned to go live in September 2026.
Data on the company's funding, valuation and headcount has not been independently confirmed. In warehouse logistics Exotec competes with AMR solutions such as Fetch/Zebra, among others, but in a different niche: cubic storage, not pallet transport.
