DefendEye from Krakow, founded in 2023, builds fully autonomous tube-launched drones weighing under 250 grams that need no pilot: artificial intelligence flies them on its own, with applications in border monitoring and search-and-rescue operations.

That places the company in the growing segment of Polish defense and drone robotics, alongside larger players such as WB Group with its Warmate family of drones, which has a far longer market history and large-scale military contracts.

DefendEye's advantage is its low weight and fully autonomous launch from a tube, which shortens reaction time in the field; its weaker side is the lack of publicly confirmed operational deployments comparable to those of established suppliers. The defense segment follows its own rules of availability, so commercial sales in Poland depend mainly on institutional orders rather than an open retail market.
