Brain.pro, based in Wrocław, develops AI-powered machine vision systems for industrial quality control. It is not a robot in the physical sense but an inspection layer built into automated production lines. The company raised €4 million in a seed round led by Inovo Venture Partners, which puts it among the better-funded Polish AI startups of recent years.

Against global machine-vision suppliers such as Cognex or Keyence, Brain.pro plays the role of a smaller, specialized player: its strength is flexible deployment and a focus on AI models tailored to a specific production line, its weakness the lack of a global service network and of reference customers comparable to the big brands.

Recognizing visual defects with machine learning makes it possible to catch flaws that are hard to define with the rules of classical image processing. The company operates in the Polish market from its Wrocław headquarters, so domestic deployments are the natural first target for expansion.
